Viaggiare sul VelaKi di Fabrizio e Sari è stata una nuova è fantastica esperienza. Non solo sono sempre stati disponibili, ma anche amichevoli e pazienti. Sari ogni giorno ci ha preparato sorprendenti e fantasiosi manicaretti, e il suo sorriso era contagioso (soprattutto con i suoi dialoghi con Kekku)! Fabrizio aveva sempre un aneddoto o una storia da raccontare in ogni luogo dove abbiamo veleggiato, e si è preso il tempo di spiegarci e farci sentire parte del viaggio e della vita di bordo, come fossimo già amici che erano andati per mare assieme! Ripeto per i posteri: mai mangiato così bene come a bordo del VelaKi! Mai scoperto più cose sul mare come a bordo del VelaKi! Mai divertito così tanto in compagnia come nella convivialità del VelaKi 

Traveling on VelaKi was a new and fantastic experience. Not only they have  always been helpful, but also friendly and patient. Sari prepared surprising and imaginative dishes for us every day, and her smile was contagious (especially with her dialogues with Kekku)! Fabrizio always had a story to tell for each place we sailed, he took the time to explain us making us feel part of the journey and the life on board, as if we were already friends who had gone seven seas together! Never ate so well, never discovered more things on the sea, never had so much fun in company as in the conviviality of VelaKi!

10 giorni alla scoperta delle isole Ioniche, dalla costa greca di Syvota fino a Zante, in un lento e appagante navigare, cullati dal vento e dalle onde, in piena armonia con la natura. Ogni isola è unica e ci ha incantato con variegate tonalità del mare e del suo entroterra. Abbiamo riscoperto sapori mediterranei veri e genuini in piccole taverne a gestione famigliare, accolti dalla semplicità e dal calore greci. Tutto questo a bordo di Velaki, più che una barca a vela un modo d'essere: Fabrizio,Sari (e la gatta Kekku) ci hanno aperto il loro mondo, hanno saputo trametterci un calore inaspettato. La cucina sana e attenta di Sari ci ha viziato e fatto assaporare 1000 gustose ricette, la calma e sicurezza di Fabrizio al timone ci hanno permesso di completare un percorso meraviglioso, condito da racconti di viaggio, facendoci apprezzare ancora una volta la magia di dormire in rada. Albe, tramonti, colori, profumi, suoni, sapori e il ritmico canto del mare greco ci hanno riempito il cuore.

10 days to discover the Ionian islands, from the Greek mainland coast of Syvota to Zakynthos, in a slow and rewarding navigation, cradled by the wind and the waves, in full harmony with nature. Each island is unique and enchanting us with varied shades of the sea and its hinterland. We have rediscovered true and genuine Mediterranean flavors in small family taverns, welcomed by Greek simplicity and warmth. All this aboard Velaki, more than a sailboat, a way of being: Fabrizio, Sari (and the cat Kekku) have opened their world to us, they have been able to give us an unexpected warmth. Sari's healthy and careful cooking has spoiled us with 1000 tasty recipes, Fabrizio's calm and confidence at the helm has allowed us to complete a wonderful journey, seasoned with travel stories, making us appreciate once again the magic of sleeping in sparse. Sunrises, sunsets, colors, scents, sounds, flavors and the rhythmic song of the Greek sea have filled our hearts.

Our sailing trip was one of the best experiences, not just of our trip, but of our lives. We originally enquired thinking that it was just a night moored in the bay in Corfu, as a few other properties that are listed around the Mediterranean are like that with a similar price. It turned out to be a bit more expensive than the air bnb program suggested (€100 per person per night), but still exceptional value for what is actually: a beautiful 14m sloop with surprisingly comfortable living arrangements for up to eight, expert skipper keen to show you around the stunning ionian islands, beautiful healthy food and living, etc, basically a dream factory. We were a group of three and had the boat to ourselves along with skipper and co-skipper who are wonderful people and after our three day trip, also great friends. We cannot recommend highly enough that you get in contact, find out where the boat is and how get on board.

Per me navigare con Sari e Fabry è stato un regalo, uno di quelli inaspettati che per 10 gg ti fanno svegliare con il sorriso perché sei felice e hai voglia di goderti ogni singolo secondo di questo viaggio ... per i posti stupendi che abbiamo visitato, per l’aria di famiglia che abbiamo respirato su Velaki , come se ci conoscessimo da sempre, per le risate e le fantastiche cene/pranzi di Sari e Fabri .... per Kekku, il gatto più speciale mai conosciuto ... insomma io non cambierei nulla e posso solo ringraziarvi per avermi fatto bene al cuore e alla mente!

For me sailing with Sari and Fabry was a gift, one of the unexpected ones that make you wake up with a smile for 10 days, because you are happy and you want to enjoy every single second of this trip ... for the wonderful places we visited, for the family atmosphere we had on VelaKi, as if we had known each other forever, for the laughs and the fantastic dinners/lunches of Sari and Fabri .... for Kekku, the most special cat ever known ... shortly, I wouldn't change a thing and I can only thank you for making my heart and mind sing of joy!

È stata una vacanza fantastica!! Tra le vele sicure ed esperte del nostro capitano, abbiamo visitato le cale più affascinanti dello jonio... e dormito , cullati dal mare, nei porti più silenziosi e confortevoli , sotto un soffitto di stelle .....per essere coccolati , poi, durante la giornata dalle amorevoli leccornie preparateci da Sari..... In una barca dotata di ogni comfort e scrupolosamente curata dalle attenzioni di Fabrizio... È una vacanza che consiglio a chiunque di provare almeno una volta nella vita .... A presto!!!

It was a fantastic holiday!! Among the safe and expert sails of our Captain, we visited the most fascinating coves of the Ionian ... and slept, cuddled by the sea in the most silent and comfortable ports, under a sky of stars ..... we were pampered, then, during the day with loving treats prepared by Sari..... In a boat equipped with every comfort and scrupulously cared by the attentions of Fabrizio ... It is a holiday, that I recommend to anyone to try at least once in their life .... See you soon!!!

Luglio 2019 - Un'esperienza straordinaria essendo la prima volta. Sono stati 7 giorni magici, dormire in mare e guardare sia l'alba che il tramonto in barca non ha prezzo e potrei dire tante cose, ma in questa bellezza si deve viverla. Ringrazio il capitano Fabrizio, per aver preso cura di ogni spostamento e Sari, con la sua dolcezza di aver cucinato con grande amore. Un caro saluto al gruppo, sembrava di conoscerci da tanto tempo per l'armonia che si è creata, e le tante risate che abbiamo condiviso.

July 2019 - An extraordinary experience since it was the first time. It was 7 magical days, sleeping on the sea and watching both the sunrise and the sunset on the boat, it is priceless and I could say many things, but in this beauty you have to live in. I thank you, Captain Fabrizio for taking care of every move, and Sari, with her sweetness of cooking with great love. Best wishes to the group, it seemed to have known you for a long time for the harmony, that has been created and the many laughs that we shared.

Anche io nel mese di luglio 2019 ho vissuto una settimana sulla Velaki, navigando nel meraviglioso mare delle isole greche. Una settimana bellissima provando sensazioni forti ed intense. Il mare cristallino ci cullava di notte e ci rinfrescava di giorno, il vento sulle vele che mi riportava ai viaggi degli antichi navigatori, agli odori inebrianti della terra greca. Le albe e i tramonti spettacolari, le notti stellate, tutto in completa fusione con la bellezza del creato. Una settimana in comunità con persone speciali. Posso solo aggiungere che è stata un’esperienza molto intensa ed istruttiva, assolutamente da vivere.
Quindi, buona navigazione e buon vento in poppa.

In July 2019, I stayed a week on Velaki, sailing in the wonderful sea of the Greek islands. A beautiful week experiencing strong and intense sensations. The crystalline sea rocked us at night and cooled us by day, the wind on the sails that brought me back to the travels of the ancient navigators, to the perfumes of the Greek land. Spectacular sunrises and sunsets, starry nights, all in complete fusion with the beauty of creation. A week in community with special people. I can only add, that it was a very intense and instructive experience, absolutely worth living.
So, good navigation and good wind in the stern.
